Plan Your Visit
Whether you've been attending church your whole life or have never stepped inside one before, you're welcome at Azamino Chapel!
We're a community of people from different walks of life who gather to worship God, grow in our understanding of the Bible, and encourage one another in faith and life.
You don't have to be a Christian to visit, and you don't need to know anything about the Bible. Wherever you're coming from, we'd love to get to know you!
What to Expect
Everyone's Welcome
When you arrive, you'll be greeted by members of our church community. We hope you'll feel comfortable asking questions, meeting new people, and getting to know us at your own pace.
Worship and the Bible
Our Sunday gatherings include worship services and Bible studies. During worship services, we sing, pray, read Scripture, and hear a message from the Bible. During Bible studies, we explore Scripture together through teaching and discussion, with opportunities to ask questions and share thoughts.
Everything we do is centered on the good news of Jesus Christ and our desire to know and follow Him.
Japanese and English
Both Japanese and English are used in our gatherings, and we welcome everyone regardless of their language or background. All of our staff either speak Japanese or are actively studying the language at a Japanese language school. Whether you're a native Japanese speaker, more comfortable with English, or somewhere in between, we'd love to have you join us!
Come As You Are
There's no need to dress formally or prepare anything before attending. Whether you're exploring Christianity for the first time or looking for a church home, you're welcome to join us.
No Donations Expected
You may notice that an offering is collected during our worship services. This is a voluntary way for members of our church to support its ministry and activities. Visitors are never required or expected to give money. Please feel completely comfortable joining us without making a donation.
